U.B. Funkeys
One of my favorite projects I have worked on to date. This toy was a hybrid of collectible urban vinyl toys and software. You could explore the world of the Funkeys and change your character at any time by swapping out the cute plastic replicas (designed at Mattel). My chief role was to develop the world maps and define the art style. The project spanned several modules, and I spent many hours designing maps, collectible objects, animations, and interface elements for this game. The toy line and game are now discontinued, but it had a nice run (including a tie-in with the SpeedRacer movie!) and is remembered fondly by many. Studio: Arkadium Publisher: Mattel |
